A layout, not a background swap

Most AI image tools give you a product on a nicer surface. That is a photograph — useful, but it is still raw material. Somebody still has to decide where the headline sits, how much air the product needs and what the eye reads first.

A poster template carries those decisions already. The composition, the type placement and the negative space were designed together, so what comes back is a finished piece rather than an asset waiting on a designer.

That is the whole reason this sits apart from the photo generator. Different job, different output, different moment in the campaign.

How it works

  1. 01

    Upload a product photo

One still. A phone shot on a plain surface is enough.

  2. 02

    Choose a layout

Billboard, cover or grid — each with its composition already set.

  3. 03

    Generate

Your product is placed into the layout, label and finish intact.

Three kinds of layout

Each format answers a different question a buyer is asking, so they tend to be used at different points in a campaign.

Billboards & out-of-home

24

Your product mounted on a city billboard, a metro panel or a roadside board. The format that makes a small brand read as an established one.

Magazine & editorial covers

15

Cover layouts with masthead, cover lines and a hero product. Useful for launches, press-style social posts and lookbooks.

Infographic & grid layouts

20

Multi-panel compositions that carry ingredients, steps or feature callouts alongside the product — the listing image that answers questions.

AI Poster Master

Or write your own headline

A template decides the composition for you. When the poster has to say something specific — a price, a launch date, an offer — you need control over the words as well as the picture, and that is what Poster Master adds.

You add your copy as separate layers and it gets typeset into the composition rather than pasted on top of a finished image. The layout is built around the text you supply, so the headline has somewhere to sit and the product still reads.

Everything except the product photo is optional. Add a reference image to steer the look, describe the scene in a line, or supply neither and let Glowya decide — the same way the template route works, just with your words in it.

Copy layers

Add each line — headline, price, call to action — as its own layer. They are composed into the layout, not stamped over it.

Style reference

Optional. Upload an image whose look you want the poster to follow.

Scene description

Optional. One line on the setting, lighting or mood is enough to redirect the whole composition.

Output size

Seven ratios from square to full vertical, chosen before you generate so nothing needs cropping afterwards.

Questions

How is a poster template different from a photo template?

A photo template restages your product in a scene and gives you back a photograph. A poster template gives you back a composed piece of marketing — the product sits inside a layout with typography, hierarchy and space designed around it, so the output is ready to post rather than ready to design with.

Do I need design skills or design software?

No. With a template, the composition, type placement and colour relationships are already decided — you are picking a finished layout, not assembling one. If you use Poster Master to supply your own copy, the layout is still built around your text for you; you are writing the words, not positioning them.

Can I put my own text on the poster?

Yes, using Poster Master. You add each line — headline, price, call to action — as its own copy layer, and it is composed into the layout rather than stamped over a finished image. You can also add a style reference image and a short scene description, and pick the output ratio before generating.

What shapes and orientations are available?

The library spans portrait, vertical and square framings, which covers social feeds, story formats and marketplace listing slots. Each template shows its own proportions before you generate.

Is there a free plan or free trial?

Yes — first-time members can start a 7-day free trial of the Lite plan, which includes 200 credits. After the trial, every image or video generation requires an active paid plan; there is no permanent free tier. Current plans and pricing are listed on the Plans page.

Can I use the posters in ads and on marketplaces?

Glowya is built for commercial use, including social posts, paid placements, marketplace listings and print. The exact usage rights attached to each plan are set out on the Plans page.

Can I get plain product shots instead?

Yes. If you need a clean photograph rather than a laid-out poster, the AI Product Photo Generator covers stills, and the AI Product Video Generator covers short-form motion.
