Add a Watermark to Product Photos

Product photos get copied — into competitors' listings, dropshipping stores and ad accounts. A watermark does not stop it, but it makes the theft obvious and gives you a clear DMCA case. It is also how brands keep a consistent mark on social images. Doing it one file at a time is the reason most sellers skip it.

This tool stamps a text line or a PNG logo on every image in a batch, with position, size, opacity and an optional diagonal tile pattern that is hard to clone out. The unwatermarked originals stay on your device; nothing is uploaded.

Where a watermark is and is not allowed

Amazon, eBay and TikTok Shop prohibit watermarks on listing images — main images especially — and will reject or suppress them. Etsy allows a small watermark. Your own store, social posts, catalogues sent to wholesale buyers and press kits are the right places. Keep clean masters for the marketplaces and watermark the copies that travel.

Settings that protect without ruining the photo

For social and store use: a small logo at 8–12% of the image width in a corner at 60–80% opacity. For catalogues and files sent to third parties: a tiled text mark at 15–25% opacity across the image, which survives cropping. Light text needs a dark shadow on white backgrounds; the tool adds a subtle shadow automatically.

Can I use my logo?

Yes — upload a PNG with transparency. SVG logos should be exported to PNG at 1000 px wide or more first.

Will the watermark be the same size on every photo?

The size is set as a percentage of each image's width, so it scales with the photo and looks consistent across mixed sizes.

Can a watermark be removed?

Corner marks can be cropped out; tiled marks across the product are much harder to remove cleanly. Neither is absolute protection — keep originals and register copyrights for valuable imagery.

Are my photos uploaded?
