PNG to JPG Converter

Background removers hand you a transparent PNG. Amazon's main image must be a JPEG-style photo on pure white; Etsy renders transparent PNGs on black; and a 4000 px PNG is often 15–25 MB where the same JPEG is 1–2 MB. Converting PNG to JPG is mostly about choosing what the transparent pixels become.

This tool flattens transparency onto the colour you choose (pure white 255/255/255 by default, which is what Amazon checks for) and encodes a JPEG at the quality and file-size limit you set. Batches run locally.

When to keep PNG

Keep PNG for anything with hard-edged graphics or text — size charts, badges, logos — and for cut-outs you will place on other backgrounds later. Convert to JPEG for the marketplace upload itself, where the background is fixed and the file needs to be small.

White, but actually white

Amazon's automated review treats RGB 254/254/254 as a non-white background. Flattening here uses exactly 255/255/255 unless you pick another colour, and the JPEG encoder preserves flat white areas cleanly at quality 90 and above. If your cut-out has a soft shadow, it is preserved on the white canvas.

Questions

Will the edges of my cut-out look jagged?

No. Semi-transparent edge pixels are blended onto the background colour, so anti-aliasing and soft shadows survive the flattening.

Can I convert JPG to PNG here?

Yes — change the output format to PNG. It will be larger, and there is no transparency to recover from a JPEG.

Does converting reduce resolution?

No. Pixel dimensions are unchanged unless you set a maximum size.
