Sizes to generate

The same product shot goes out as a 1:1 Instagram post, a 4:5 feed image, a 9:16 Story, a 2:3 Pinterest pin and a 16:9 X card. Each network has its own pixel size and crops anything else unpredictably. This tool makes all of them from one image in one pass, either cropping to fill or padding to keep the entire photo.

Sizes are the current published recommendations for each network (see the list in the options). Everything runs locally; the output is a zip named by network and size.

How it works

  1. 01

    Drop one or more photos

Each photo produces a full set.

  2. 02

    Tick the networks

All are selected by default; untick what you do not post to. Choose crop or pad.

  3. 03

    Download the zip

Files are named photo-instagram-1080x1350.jpg and so on.

Crop or pad?

Crop (fill) uses the centre of the photo and is right for lifestyle scenes with room around the product. Pad (fit) keeps the whole photo on a coloured canvas and is right for packshots where cropping would cut into the product. Pick per batch; the preview thumbnails show what each output will look like.

Sizes included

Instagram post 1080 × 1080 and 1080 × 1350, Story/Reel cover 1080 × 1920, Pinterest 1000 × 1500, TikTok 1080 × 1920, Facebook 1200 × 630, X 1600 × 900, YouTube thumbnail 1280 × 720, LinkedIn 1200 × 627. Networks recompress on upload, so files are written as JPEG at quality 90.

Questions

Can I choose where the crop is centred?
Not yet — crops are centred. For off-centre products, use pad mode or crop the source first.
Are these sizes current?
They match each network's published recommendations as of September 2026. Networks change specs occasionally; if a size looks wrong, the spec table page lists the sources.
Does it add text or logos?
No. Use the watermark tool for a logo; for headlines and layouts, a design tool is the right place.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser.
